Very cool place. Definitely something to do to get a feel for the local floating market. The food on the floating market was extra delicious. Partly due to the fact that I hadn't had breakfast yet. Everything is overpriced and it's definitely geared towards tourists, but that comes with the territory. The ride from Bangkok is long. This is definitely a fun, half day tour that will give you something to remember. All of the sounds and fragrances of the market are certainly unique.

The longish ride from hotel pick up in Bangkok to the floating market was a great choice to see in a tourist setting the way things were in Bangkok as long thin boats plied the canal ways selling wares. It is fairly priced for authentic food and souvenirs and you are able to also take in part of the day with the elephants that also provide a nature experience. Riding the elephants was very human and fun and the elephants are well cared for and very happy. It might seem controversial, but I felt it was very natural and gave me a bonding with elephants that surely was beneficial to both.

A new experience to shopping and see the local handicrafts of Thailand while in boat. Never had an experience of seeing the beer and snacks come floating towards you 😆. You will definitely need a local guide to help you reach here being in the outskirts of Thailand. They will be the one guiding you to the correct place as on the way, we saw few signs of floating market that can confuse you. Mr Knight at Big Country Vacation in Silom will make your perfect Bangkok Itinerary and our guide Lyn was the best we had for this tour. I would recommend you travel through them.

we came to the market in the morning, it was crowded a lot on the water. it’s a really touristic place - regarding this, maybe it has lost a bit it’s atmosphere. although we love bargaining, prices were too high anyway. no various options (a bit of souvenirs everywhere with no options to eat) - at least we didn’t go around any local food. it was a nice visit, but once in a lifetime is enough.

Unlike anything I've ever experienced and very culturally awesome!! The ride up to the floating markets is one of my favorite parts. Very beautiful to experience. Highly recommended
