Nice day outing with family in Monte Casino and adjoining bird park. If you have small kids they will enjoy Bird Park. Even if Casino is not your idea of entertainment, you can still roam about for some time. Nice restaurants to cater taste buds..

Worth a 3 to 4 hr visit. Interesting bird and reptile exhibits in an animal friendly environment. The animals are well cared for and appears healthy and peaceful. Large walk through aviaries. The bird show is a must see. Very well planned and well rehearsed. Most interesting.

Fantastic outing for the whole family, young and old! All the birds are so well taken care of, the premisis is clean & the bird show was well worth it and extremely informative! The biggest variety of birds I have ever seen in 1 area. Reptiles as well. Beautiful kept gardens and lawns! Coffee shop & play area for kids

Thus place is awesome. Staff are attentive and they actually care about what they do. Maintenance is tops. Animals are taken care of. Entrance fee is reasonable and, of course, there's tonnes of activities in and around the casino. One of my favourite South African attractions. I presume the park is running at quite a loss, because you can see Tsogo is putting a lot of resources into the park. Thank you so much!!!

I don't know how many years ago it was that we were there...(15-20) ? But the experience was awesome and I had the privilege of having this beautiful owl fly over me and land on a stump a foot or two merging my head. I turned round and click. With a Casio film camera.
