It's pricy, but it's the place to be seen in Malta. The food is great, but does not deserve four stars (maybe four and a half). Nice place to have dinner while looking to the sea

An excellent evening with quality food from a wide choice of menu. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The sommelier Gabi was excellent and gave help without being pushy, waitress Elena very efficient and attentive to our needs. All experienced in a restored 18th century villa, literally at the edge of St Julian's Bay with a delightful decor and a friendly, efficient, enjoyable ambiance.This restaurant compares with others we have experienced that have Michelin star awards. Perhaps this one should too!

The view is magnificent and the service is very nice. We wanted to sit on the balcony (the old one) and we sent an email with "balcony" so they reserved us a table on the other balcony that is not so beautiful and actually it feels more like inside the restaurant (even if they opened the window). To go during sunset is a very good idea. As starter we really wanted olives and since it was not on the list we asked for them and they brought us. They were the best olives I even are! The main dishes were not specially good neither the duck or the lamb. The duck meat was a bit better. The quantity of meat was ok but the salad/potato was really very small. We were not in a mood for wine so we preferred to order beer, we felt that this order was not expected and didn't like the feeling. Anyway we had pleasure to drink them. The end the cheesecake was very good, recommend! Definitely a very romantic restaurant, but in terms of food not even in my best 40. Doesn't worst the money (40€/person).

We where there twice on the same day. We stoped there randomly, the view was fascinating, the small terrace is so cute, the view is amazing. You can see the clear water, there was even a guy swimming in the water. We have 3 small dishes, because the only have a ver small cart during the day. But they were really good. Especially the burger dish. Just ordered a second portion. From the inside there is an other side where you can sit next the a window wall. I think the view is even nicer during the day, cos you can see the landscape and the color of the water. The place and food was so good that we decided to come again for dinner. Prices a high. Service is comparable to high end restaurant, meaning when you get up, someone will come to fold your napkin. We did not sit next to the window. You should book in advance.

Definitely on expensive side. But you are not just paying for the view and fancy decor. It’s for good food as well. Some suggested dishes we ordered were £40+ each. Well we were not expecting that!
