Although I can't deny that the sea is beautiful, it is so crammed with people that there isn't enough place to lay down a towel. The matter isn't helped by the fact that people who own the deck chairs and umbrellas place them on the beach before anyone actually requesting them, and they refuse to remove them if you want to use the area. Again, the place is lovely... but more for hiking rather than swimming.
We went on the boat trip to see the Inland Sea, Blue Hole and Azure window. It was amazing - a definite must visit. I'm going again in a few weeks to take my daughter so she can see it. It's one of those once in a lifetime events
Most beautiful place I've ever seen. Over crowded and just rocky all in all. Quick swim across the lagoon gives you a nice quiet beach. If your planning gozo/comino just stop look and go.
The Blue Lagoon, located at Comino, is one of the most beautiful places in the Maltese islands . It was nice time to spend whole day in cruise and beach. Truly amazing place . Must visit in Malta .

Really amazing place. The trip from the ferry terminal with Co-op ferries is great fun and stops by some of the caves on the way. The lagoon itself is wonderful and you can swim across to the other side. Do the walk to the tower too as the views are to die for. There are locker facilities that are great for leaving your belongings while you swim. The food and drink is a little pricey though and prepare to pay through the nose for sunscream. Let's not mention the toilets. They were closed and it was just two porta potties. Awful. But otherwise great.
