Very cool park - peaceful, clean, well maintained, and a perfect Oasis from the concreteness (that's a word, right?) Of Shinjuku. I felt like I was resting my limbs AND my eyes from the stimulation of the world. They also have awesome playgrounds that seem made for dozens of children to play.

Nice oasis of green and calm amidst crazy Shinjuku. Rare to find a kid's playground and exercise area, but they can be found here. Pretty good equipment at the playground, passable at the exercise area. Nice view of the Metropolitan Building also.

Great little park to visit! Pretty quiet spot where you can take a seat on a bench, people watch, and listen to the sounds around you. Love the waterfall area in the middle of the park, even though it’s man made. You may find some people playing instruments, which adds to the great and calming atmosphere. Best part of the park is the beautiful shrine towards the back. Worth a visit, especially if you’re staying at the Hyatt Regency.

Usually quiet and peaceful. Nice place to sit and relax. At night used by homeless people to camp by morning spotless.
