This is a must-see place to visit if you're in Seoul. Unfortunately, I missed seeing the catches being brought in, but I hear that's really neat. They have all sorts of seafood, and the warehouse area is huge. You should definitely wander a bit amongst the stalls and see what they have to offer. (You'll also find better prices if you don't just buy from the first few stalls.) You can buy various things to cook or choose a plate that is already prepared. The vendor will guide you to a small restaurant above the warehouse, where you can cook your food/or eat it raw (if it's sashimi), and they'll supply the sides, drinks, and cooking equipment.

despite the fact that there is still a divide between the older building and the new building the products there are second to none. the older building has a rustic original feel and the new building is just that, new. don't be afraid to wander around in either space as the merchants in both buildings are there to sell great seafood at a negotiable price. they speak enough English to haggle prices and each have their own selling points so shop around!

This place kind of looks like a market out of some dystopian movie. The way to the market was really dirty and through some kind of old building top which took us forever to find. Once you get out the subway, there is a kind of overpass bridge that leads to it. The vendors are always pushing you to buy, some woman actually started weighing out things while we were just strolling past and happened to meet her eye. If you can get past that, it’s still worth seeing how things work. Tons of seafood stalls! We didn’t actually eat here, so not sure about the pricing. Worth checking out, but not sure about how enjoyable the social and singing experience is.

Had a great time. It is really one of a kind experience. Don't get the sellers who are trying there hardest to offer things to you (sometimes too actively, for my liking) discourage you. I suggest watching the sellers downstairs carve the fish with your own eyes, do not let them take the fish alive to the restaurants for the preparation, because they might just use some of their older, not so fresh fish and take the one you bought back to the water tanks, unknowingly to you. Watch out for that sort of scam. Other then that I fully recommend visiting the market and enjoying it to the fullest.

Had fresh sushi here, tuna belly. Super good. Lots of stalls with so much fresh fish every day. There's also an old fish market there too. Not great there, lots of people pulling you in to buy their sad looking fish. The fish at the noryangjin fish market was so much better. Definitely try the restaurants inside the market up the escalators.
