Wong Tai Sin Temple (Chinese: 黃大仙祠; Jyutping: wong4 daai6 sin1 ci4) is a well known shrine and major tourist attraction in Hong Kong. It is dedicated to Wong Tai Sin, or the Great Immortal Wong. The 18,000 m2 (190,000 sq ft) Taoist temple is famed for the many prayers answered: "What you request is what you get" (有求必應) via a practice called kau cim. The temple is located on the southern side of Lion Rock in the north of Kowloon.

While stopping in Hong Kong we visited this place as it was recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed as it was an amazing place to see. There's a place to pray as well. We went there early in the morning so the place was not too busy.

The Buddhist temple in central Hong Kong is fascinating to see. Bring a guide to make sure you understand what is going on. Why does everyone touch the dragon at the entrance? What are people doing with all the sticks et c? All these things are great to see and when you go with a guide you will have a better experience. The temple is stuck between high apartment buildings creating an even more spectacular sight.

Beautiful area with lush gardens. Worth the visit even in the rain. There are places to sit that are under cover that would be fantastic for an hours chilling out and reading.

Famous Chinese temple of "Tao". Tao describe the origin of human intelligent as a mystery origin which cannot be defined in language, which also encourage us to behave like water as always flowing downward (not to quarrel with others), beneficial to others. Wong Tai Sin is the top temple in Hong Kong. Thousands of people come to bless for home, health, career and wealth. A must go place in Hong Kong.

1 of the most famous Chinese God Wong Tai Sin temple in South East Asia and worshipped plus deeply believed by many Chinese people all over the world. And it is also located in the Wong Tai Sin MTR station. Many tourists come here every day in the whole year, never stop. I lived in Wong Tai Sin here for 5 years.
