Good for a honeymoon, academic activities like thesis writing, marking or even reading. Very quiet place and beautiful. The menu is not too vegetarian friendly but apart from that, it is truely an amazing environment with very friendly staff.

Dinokeng is a lovely reserve but there is not a lot of big game, but if you like birding and being out in nature you will enjoy Dinokeng. I think the self drive costs are a bit high. There is some really good accomodation of all kinds in Dinokeng so look around.

You can do whatever you want if it fits the rules. This includes your own game drive. It's a relaxing park.

This place was great! Not as great as Pilanesburg National Park, but definitely worth going to. A lot of small game and a few of the Big 5. Saw 6 or 7 Rhinos with their babies, Wonderful site!

I recently did a self drive with my family and was really surprised at how lovely this area is. It didn't cost much, 90% of the roads within the park are sedan friendly and we saw loads of animals. A giraffe crossed the road so close to our car that it literally felt like he was stepping over us. We will defiantly be back as soon as possible oh and as always with a game drive, start early and plan to leave as late as possible. If I could improve on anything, I would love to see the park include a picnic area that is included in the parks fees as you need to pay a small additional fee to enter the current one.
