A great place to experience contemporary art for free (mostly African artists). Their exhibitions are changing and entry is free! The little cafe is a great place to grab a snack or beverage or to work in peace as you like.

So great, fresh and warm food at lunch - 12ish. Great bakes, good atmosphere - relaxed. You can eat, study or just chill.

One of my favourite places to go! The Wits Art generally shows 2-3 (or more) artists per month. With the main artist being on display through the windows of the museum and the other artists on the upper and lower floors. Included the first Thursday of each month is an event called First Thursdays, where WAM (along with other art museums) open till late and include maps to do a museum/art tour which is really exciting. Both art lovers and generals will thoroughly enjoy the experience!

Intriguing art pieces with a 2 week rollover for new art. Definitely one of my favourite places to visit.
