I really love this palce,Visited two times, very good collection, can have a good knowledge about history of astronomy. This museum, the only one of its kind, situated inside an enormous monument to the explorers of the cosmos, is well worth the visit, not least for the nostalgia it should inspire in anyone who grew up in the heady days of the space race. The displays trace the history of space exploration, including the first interplanetary satellite flights, the first dogs in space and man's journeys to the cosmos. There's plenty of fun gadgetry, plus an excellently conceived display explaining how astronauts survive a space flight, all of which should be interesting for children.

Beautiful museum with very nice exhibits. The museum went into great detail about a lot of the equipment that is used from previous missions to more modern equipment and processes. Translations into English were mediocre but existed and did not make the experience worse. I highly recommend the museum.

Great museum with plenty of historical references to Russia's involvement in the space race via scaled and lifesize models of satellites and other paraphernalia. Nice to see acknowledgement of American and small Indian contributions. Loses one star due to lack of English translation for every item. Only the large ones are accounted for but for $5 entry it's not regrettable at all. Highly recommended during a brief trip.

Great place to visit if you are interested in science. Visit with people with similar interests otherwise they will force you to come outside of the museum. Place has very good collection placed in chronological order elaborating development of USSR and subsequently Russian and space program. Tickets are cheap and do purchase a audio guide available at the ticket counter (carry headphones).

Excellent insight in (Russian) history of space exploration, with lots of exhibits and details. Well organized and modern, it's a very exciting to walk through many items that returned from space, accessories and less known pieces of information. Could be more explications in English, for foreign visitors, I was lucky knowing some Russian and fill up some gaps.
