I bike past this bridge on my commute home and I love seeing it! It's one of the most versatile bridges in New York while still being iconic. You can drive, walk, bike, or subway over it depending on what subway line you use. The views from it are fantastic and it green color shines when the sun light touches it. Its also really pretty to bike under and when I have my camera I often stop to take photos. Its a lovely bridge. One of my favorites to visit!

One of the beautiful bridges in The Earth. The bridge is huge , has both walking side and a side for bikes. If you ever go there, have a walk under the bridge in the DUMBO area. Its beautiful. They place is very nice and relaxing.
The walk path on the western side of the bridge facing Lower Manhattan offers amazing views of New York's iconic skyline and Brooklyn Bridge, making for a scenic stroll, anytime of day. I usually come around sunset and walk slowly until the early evening sets in. The bridge is fenced off with industrial wire but you can peer through the holes to take photos. Have a tripod handy if your main goal is photography.
In the colder months, the wind chill can be quite intense so bring layers as necessary. Bring ear plugs too because the noise coming from the passing trains can become unbearable, especially when there are several passing by.
Great way to bike to the city from Brooklyn. Their not a lot of tourists like the Brooklyn Bridge so you could go really fast and not worry about pedestrians. You also get a great view of the east river with Brooklyn and New York and some of Queens.
This was my favorite bridge to walk over in NYC. It is great having a pedestrian sidewalk just for pedestrians (and no bikes running you over), so it is relaxing to stroll across and take in the awesome views. Beautiful view of the river and the districts either side of it. I would love to walk across this bridge everyday.
