Welcome to SeeVoov,
Where would you like to go?
The Jardin du Luxembourg, also known in English as the Luxembourg Gardens, is located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was created beginning in 1612 by Marie de' Medici, the widow of King Henry IV of France, for a new residence she constructed, the Luxembourg Palace. The garden today is owned by the French Senate, which meets in the Palace. It covers 23 hectares and is known for its lawns, tree-lined promenades, flowerbeds, model sailboats on its circular basin, and picturesque Medici Fountain, built in 1620.

Absolutely gorgeous! Give yourself an hour or so to explore the gardens. From the perfectly cut trees to the wonderful statues and gardens, it was one of my favorite experiences in Paris. If you enjoy sitting down in a calm and outdoor environment, I would recommend. Also a great place for photos.

So amazing. Very calm and relaxed atmosphere. As you stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens, you will run across a stunning modern art display that sets the stage for a curious juxtaposition of ancient and modern themes. You take a moment to indulge in the scenery and realize how cool it is that you are here - standing on very historic ground. The small little nooks and crannies that are luxuriously hidden add a sweet respite from the very small but abundant crowds. It's like your own little secret garden... If only for a moment. 💗

one of the most interesting places in Paris, according to me. If you don't go there during crowded days it's even better. on Sunday mornings you can see children "sailing" with their little boats in the fountain. There is a bar but it's REALLY expansive, bringing your own food/beverage is highly recommended, just keep the place tidy ;)

Pretty impressive grounds, could walk around for about an hour. If you do the palace of Versailles as well, I think going here isn’t necessary, as it is pretty similar. Seems to be a nice place to take a leisurely stroll on a nice day. I however didn’t spend much time here.

Grab a bagette and coffee and come and enjoy lunch in this beautiful park. A wonderful place to people watch, enjoy nature and relax. The French Senate meets in the Luxembourg Palace, a magnificent building overlooking the gardens.
