The place to be seen if you are a young and trendy, but if you want a good walk – then it’s also the place to be. There are lots of eateries lining the back area of the beach and definitely a place for lunch. There is a lovely walking trail alongside the beach all the way to the main area of town. The beach is manned by lifeguards and there are plenty of places that we could see for surfers. A great walk down from the cliffs and free parking
What a beach, I had never expected such a calm environment. The place was pretty clean and nice. The best part was the people ; they were so nice and friendly, which made the while experience outstanding.
I never use to appreciate this beach, because it felt commercial and touristy... But after spending some more time here, watching the sunset has really made me fall in love with it's natural beauty. Still not crazy about the shops near by. Wish they'd put in some more quality boutiques...

Manly Wharf is a great spot with various shops, and places to eat, or buy food and groceries. You can get to Manly by car, ferry, or bus. A walk through town to the main beach is where most people head. You pass many shops and places to buy food and groceries along the way. It hasn't changed much in all the years I've been visiting Manly.
this is really awesome beach. we visited Sydney for 5 days and this is the only beach we visited. compare to Adelaide beach you can see lots of amazing cute bikini girls. while in Adelaide i had visited all beaches in different time and dates but its hard to find girls in bikini. other than that it nice and clean beach.
