The Zachęta National Gallery of Art (Polish: Narodowa Galeria Sztuki), is a contemporary art museum in the centre of Warsaw, Poland. The main aim of the gallery is to present and support Polish contemporary art and artists. With numerous temporary exhibitions of well known foreign artists, the gallery has also established itself internationally. The Polish term, zachęta, can be translated as encouragement or motivation and refers to the Towarzystwo Zachęty do Sztuk Pięknych (Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts) founded in Warsaw in 1860.

Amazing elegant gallery. First i adore the building from the inside and the outside, second i love that they have different exhibitions for different international artists every once in a while so you are always surprised (mostly positively) with new art forms and creations. Whether you are coming to warsaw for a small visit or vacation or a long stay, this place is a must visit at least once, especially if you are an art lover like myself. The surrounding area of this building is also amazing so you can walk around after the visit as well and you sure won't be bored.

Total dissapointment. One-two small exhibitions with one not very big room and that's all. If you're going to special exhibition it could be ok, otherways - absolutely not. 15 zl for nothing
