The brunch food here is incredible. It's worth trying to get a reservation or (like we did) waking up early and getting there when they open to try and get a table. I hyped this place up to my husband for months before I finally got him there, and he still said it was better than he thought it would be. I believe the words "best French toast I've ever had" were used. Can't recommend this place enough!

Some of the best food I have ever eaten! My hubby and I found this restaurant during our anniversary weekend, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming, the food was nothing short of amazing, and the staff was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

We went here for a graduation dinner. The food and service were excellent. However, this is NOT the place to go if you want a more peaceful / sane atmosphere. On a Wednesday night, it was extremely crowded and VERY loud (both music and chatter noise). People and waiters were scurrying around us constantly. It was so loud that we had to shout to hear each other. It was too overwhelming for our elderly guests. Thankfully the food and wait staff were top notch.

I had the mixed Oyster platter, the Blue Slope oysters were my favorite (Salty and sweet). Then the stake tartare, it was awesome (You have to like Garlic). Finally the escargot, simply fabulous. The bartender made me one of the signature cocktails with bourbon, benedictine, bitters and white wine - It was killer. Busy place and I now know why. I will be back on my next trip, not to miss this spot.

Really nice and airy feel restaurant. Located on a corner in this quirky part of DC. We ate outside in the lovely spring warmth. For us Europeans; we had the minute steak, very nicely cooked. Med rare was just right. But don't expect one of those thin steaks you get in France. This was more of a thick cut filet steak.
