Great place with a great intercultural atmosphere. Various not-so-easy to find ingredients and meals are sold here. Great to meet up with friends! Also makes for a great tour if you're alone and just want to check out something different.

We love this place! No plastic plates and forks anymore, only wood and paper. Had our best lunch there: pulled turkey sandwich with fritz kola. You can find baby feeding chairs and free toilet here.

A great place for Sunday's lunch. Close to Akerselva linear park, one of the most beautiful parks in Oslo, Mathallen is an alive center for finding very good food and atmosphere. In an old storage house there are many small restaurants and food shops, from pizza to sushi to french soup or Mexican tacos. A gastronomic travel around the world in few meters. A place to go. Highly recommended.

Trendy, exotic place for Oslo, and while it's not cheap, the food and drinks are mostly good. Wide array of ethnicities of food but often limited vegan/vegetarian.The toughest part is finding somewhere to sit, or at least to like of perch! There is more space upstairs and I reckon of they'd just add more seating it'd avoid this game of saving spaces.

Go here, eat the fish or lose your chance at the best fish I've ever had. Cheap friendly fantastic food. I want an apartment near here.. actually!
